Kosovo – Europe’s newest opportunity
MAI CEE, as the only international insurance and reinsurance broker to have a presence in Albania, services Kosovo from Tirane, and is in the process of opening an office in Pristina. Though small and landlocked, the country offers a wealth of opportunity, and is attracting inward investment for major infrastructure projects. Currently MAI Albania is working on projects in energy, transportation and telecommunications.
The Kosovan insurance market is still relatively small, but is going through a period of growth. Despite strong price sensitivity, premium income is rising by between 12% compared to 2012.

Country Manager Profile
Elnar comes from an economic background with a wide experience in insurance and reinsurance.
He has more than 12 years’ insurance experience in different local insurance companies. In his previous experience he has handled different insurance lines including Motor lines, Property & Casualty, Claims, and Liabilities.
He joined MAI Albania in 2008 when MAI CEE established the first licensed Broker in Albania. From first joining MAI CEE he has managed the main local and international accounts of MAI CEE in Albania.
Elnar speaks Albanian and English.
